At the end of 2010 Nico Jankowski contacted me with the question whether I could make adjustments and add functionality to his current WordPress theme. To name a thing: he wanted photos to load in lightboxes directly on the frontpage. An interesting project.
I quickly realised that the current WordPress theme he wanted me to work on would be hard to modify: it was build badly and inflexible. With this in mind, I recommended him to have me build a new theme based on the old one, but realigned and build much better.
The new theme has been focused the content: the photos. They fill up the whole page and to “lift them up” to your attention, they have a bigger shadow than the menu. The background is a light grey to make the photos look more vivid.
